Abonae

We walked from Ham Green, down the hill to the River Avon, then along the riverbank passing the Roman settlement of Abonae on the opposite (north) side, more recently know as Sea Mills. The river Trym flows into the Avon here. The nearest bridge is a railway (to Avonmouth and Severn Beach) and the further bridge is The Portway.
