Lundy Island

The paddle steamer Waverley – the last ocean-going steamship in the world – left Clevedon Pier at 0815 hours on a perfect morning and took us, via Porthcawl and Ilfracombe, to Lundy Island, where the Bristol Channel becomes the Atlantic Ocean. Great day (bit cold and dark later as we didn’t get back ’till midnight). Great pint of Landmark Ale in the Marrisco Tavern!
